Synopsis:
The plethora of wearables, health devices and health mobile applications are readily available to
everyone. And it has given us insights into our health like our daily deep sleep, our stress level and other
health-related information. These health data are useful to help us make adjustments in our lifestyle to
be healthier. Given the accessibility of these wearables, it has become easier to track our exercise
intensity which is one of the key factors to enhance health. There will be hands-on experiences led by
the speakers so that you could practise using these health technology to exercise at the right intensity.

Workshop objectives :

1) Learn about exercise intensity and how it is beneficial to health
2) Learn how to calculate your exercise intensity based on heart rate
3) Learn how to use your smart watch to tell if you are exercising at the right intensity
4) Learn how to do a 2 mins step test to gauge your exercise intensity

7pm: Introduction to moderate-vigorous physical activity
7:10pm: Introduction to wearables
7:15pm: How to use your wearables practical
7:35pm: Introduction to 2 mins step test and practical
7:55pm: Q&A
