潮州八邑会馆青年团成功举办首届“潮州青年领袖峰会”
5月21日，作为2026「新加坡文化遗产节」系列活动之一，新加坡潮州八邑会馆青年团成功举办首届“潮州青年领袖峰会”。
本次活动特邀国会议员蔡引舟莅临出席，并汇聚超过120位青年、社区领袖及来自商界、文化、媒体及餐饮界的分享嘉宾，共同围绕当代新加坡的文化传承、领导力发展及社区建设展开深入交流。峰会重点探讨宗乡会馆在新时代的角色转型、青年参与的重要性，以及通过领导力与志愿服务持续激活文化与社群活力。
峰会论坛嘉宾包括The Assembly Place首席执行官林英劼，剧场导演、电视主持人、跨界媒体人杨君伟，1925 Holdings Pte Ltd首席执行官杨应晖，JC Packers System & Yum Cha餐厅执行董事陈怡晖，并由潮州八邑会馆董事张树志担任主持。
活动中，青年团团长陈俊元欢迎新成员加入，并正式宣布开放青年执委会申请，鼓励更多年轻人参与社群建设，共同推动潮州文化传承与创新发展。
On 21st May 2026, the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan Youth Committee organised the inaugural Teochew Youth Leaders Summit 2026 as part of Singapore HeritageFest 2026.
The event was attended by Guest of Honour and Advisor, MP @yinzhoucai , and brought together over 120 youths, community leaders, and speakers from the business, cultural, media and F&B sectors for meaningful conversations on heritage, leadership and community-building in Singapore today.
The summit explored the evolving role of clan associations, the importance of youth participation, and the value of leadership and volunteerism in keeping culture and communities vibrant and relevant for future generations.
The panel discussion featured @eugenelimyj , @dannyyeo_yangjunwei , @chef_ivanyeo and @itsamelothing , and was moderated by Board Director Mr Nicholas Teo.
At the event, Youth Committee Chairman Mr Mark Tan also welcomed new members and announced the opening of applications for the Youth Exco!
