潮州八邑会馆第48届董事会就职典礼 Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan 48th Board Installation Ceremony

昨晚，在副总理王瑞杰的见证下，潮州八邑会馆第48届董事会隆重宣誓就职。近700位嘉宾出席，包括外交使节、商界领袖及海内外社团领导。

连任会长拿督斯里吴木興博士宣布两大战略目标：建设潮州文化中心，并申办2027年国际潮团联谊年会。王副总理赞扬会馆推动文化传承，并鼓励持续促进团结与文化发展。

晚宴上，会馆向蓉子女士授予永远名誉会长荣衔，并向广东省粤港澳潮汕经济文化联合会会长吴木棠先生颁授名誉会长证书。

于此同时，吴会长也向19位前届董事会成员颁发感谢状，以表彰他们的卓越贡献。

Last night, the 48th Board of Directors of the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan was officially inaugurated, witnessed by Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat. The grand ceremony was attended by nearly 700 guests, including diplomats, business leaders, and both local and overseas Chinese clan leaders.

Re-elected President Dato’ Seri Dr. Derek Goh BBM(L) announced two key strategic goals: the establishment of a Teochew Cultural Center and a bid to host the 2027 Teochew International Convention. DPM Heng commended the association’s efforts in promoting Teochew culture and encouraged continued contributions to national unity and cultural heritage.

The Huay Kuan conferred the title of Honorary Life President upon Ms. Rong Zi and presented an Honorary President certificate to Mr. Wu Mutang, President of the Guangdong-HongKong-Macao Chaoshan Economic and Cultural Federation.

The evening also featured a presentation of appreciation certificates by President Goh to 19 board members of the 47th board term in recognition of their outstanding contributions.
