汕头市中医医院代表团莅临本会交流座谈
7月8日，汕头市中医医院代表团莅临新加坡潮州八邑会馆参访交流。本会会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)、总务黄朝群、副总务陈坤成、副财政陈振光、交际陈森泉、副交际林本煜、文教组主任陈丽卿、文教组副主任陈丹轲一众同仁热情接待，共叙乡谊、共探合作。
座谈会上，吴木興会长简要介绍本会近百年发展历程与特色品牌活动。他高度肯定中医药文化的深厚价值，期许依托会馆平台，与汕头市中医医院深化医疗交流、人才互通及中医药文化推广合作，造福海外乡亲。陈超院长现场分享医院发展概况与中医药国际化建设成果，介绍医院近年抢抓湾区建设机遇，积极布局跨境医疗合作、开展海外中医药技能培训、搭建国际合作基地的丰硕成果，希望依托本会优质侨乡平台与海外资源，深化中医药文化传播与服务贸易落地，推动中医药文化走出国门、走向国际。
本次交流以中医药为载体，搭建起中新两地医疗文化沟通的良好桥梁。未来，本会将持续联动祖籍地优质医疗资源，深耕多元领域合作，传承弘扬中华优秀传统文化，赋能潮人社群高质量发展。
On 8 July, a delegation from Shantou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine visited Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan for an exchange. The delegation was warmly received by Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L), President of the Huay Kuan, together with members of the Board.
During the meeting, President Goh introduced the Huay Kuan’s history and key initiatives, and expressed his hope of strengthening collaboration with the hospital in medical exchange, talent development and the promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture for the benefit of the overseas Chinese community. Hospital President Dr Chen Chao shared the hospital’s recent achievements in advancing the internationalisation of TCM, including cross-border healthcare collaboration, overseas TCM training programmes and international partnership platforms. Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation by leveraging the Huay Kuan’s overseas network to promote TCM culture and expand cultural and medical exchanges between Singapore and Shantou.
