广东省清远市经贸代表团莅八邑会馆参访交流
6月24日，广东省清远市委常委、副市长闵飞带领清远市经贸代表团莅临新加坡潮州八邑会馆开展参访交流。本会副会长许怀平、黄伟忠、总务黄朝群、副财政陈振光、文教组主任陈丽卿、特别董事黄定亚等，以及新加坡广东商会会长李瑞武、副会长李阳等同仁热情接待，共叙情谊。
座谈中，会馆副会长许怀平致欢迎辞，介绍会馆百年发展底蕴、会务发展成果与品牌文化活动，同时，充分肯定清远优越的区位、生态与产业优势，期待双方深化产业、文化、人才多领域合作。随后，闵飞常委发表致辞，对会馆长期助力中新交流合作的卓越贡献致以诚挚感谢。他全面介绍清远近年发展成果，重点推介农文旅融合领域的发展态势，阐释城市“近、大、好、优”的核心优势，并诚挚邀请新加坡潮商赴清远考察投资、共谋合作新机。
座谈尾声，双方围绕经贸合作、产业联动、文化互通、人才交流等领域展开深入商务对接与细致交流，积极探讨多元化合作契机。未来，双方将持续深化双向互动、资源互补，携手赋能两地经贸文化发展，携手共进。
On 24th June, an economic and trade delegation from Qingyuan, Guangdong, led by Mr Min Fei, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qingyuan Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Qingyuan, visited Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan for an exchange. The delegation was warmly received by the Huay Kuan’s leadership, together with representatives from the Guangdong Enterprise Association (Singapore).
During the meeting, Vice President Mr Thomas Koh welcomed the delegation and introduced the Huay Kuan’s century-long history, key achievements and signature initiatives. Mr Min Fei shared Qingyuan’s latest developments and highlighted its strengths in agriculture, culture and tourism, while inviting Singapore businesses to explore investment and collaboration opportunities. Both sides also exchanged views on trade, industry, culture and talent development, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening future cooperation and fostering closer ties between Singapore and Qingyuan.
