喜报！新加坡潮州八邑会馆获得2027年第24届国际潮团联谊年会主办权！ Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan has successfully secured the hosting rights for the 24th Teochew International Convention in 2027!
2025年7月3日，第二十三届国际潮团联谊年会团长秘书长会议在中国广东潮州市召开。新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)、前会长曾建權PBM、副会长梁成辉、沈茂強BBM, MStJ、总务黄朝群以及来自20多个国家和地区的300多位潮属社团团长、秘书长出席大会。
会议听取了第二十三届年会的筹备工作情况，并且宣布新加坡八邑会馆成功获得2027年第二十四届国际潮团联谊年会的主办权！这一振奋人心的好消息，意味着八邑会馆将成为全球首家三度主办国际潮团联谊年会的潮州社团。八邑会馆曾于1987年和2003年先后主办过第四届和第十二届国际潮团联谊年会，如今再次担纲主办，意义非凡，令人欢欣鼓舞、倍感自豪。
八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)在会上表示：“今天，我们荣幸地第三次获得主办权，深感责任重大，也满怀信心。新加坡潮州八邑会馆必将全力以赴，不负重托，为全球潮人打造一场既有文化的’根’，又有时代的’魂’的盛会！24届国际潮团联谊联会将成为全球潮人的骄傲！”
国际潮团联谊年会是国际潮团联合总会的主要活动之一。自1981年以来，国际潮团联谊年会每两年在世界各地召开一次，旨在促进全球潮人大团结，是目前为止规模最大的国际性潮人活动。让我们欢迎和期待2027年全球各地潮籍同仁齐聚新加坡，共襄盛举。
On 3rd July 2025, at the 23rd Convention of Teochew International Federation Heads of Delegation and Secretary-General Meeting held in Chaozhou Guangdong China, the Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan successfully secured the rights to host the 24th Fellowship in 2027—having previously hosted the 4th in 1987 and the 12th in 2003, it becomes the first Teochew association ever to preside over this prestigious event three times, a milestone that fills us with immense pride and excitement.
At the meeting, Dato’ Sri Dr. Derek Goh Bak Heng, BBM(L), President of Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan, remarked: “Today, we are deeply honored to have been entrusted with hosting rights for the third time. We fully appreciate the weight of this responsibility and are filled with confidence. The Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan will spare no effort to live up to this trust, delivering an event that honors our cultural heritage while embracing contemporary dynamism. The 24th Teochew International Convention will be a source of pride for Teochew people around the globe!”
Teochew International Convention is one of the major events of Teochew International Federation. Since 1981, Teochew International Convention has convened every two years in different locations around the world to foster unity among Teochew communities and stands as the largest international gathering of Teochew people to date. Let us welcome and look forward to hosting Teochew delegates from every corner of the globe in Singapore in 2027 for this grand occasion.
