古晋潮州公会访问 Kuching Teochew Association Visit

6月12日(星期四)下午,古晋潮州公会会长陈家福率领工会访问团一行16人访问新加坡潮州八邑会馆。潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L),前会长、永远名誉会长曾建權PBM,署理会长吴佶财,总务黄朝群等亲切接待访问团并进行深入交流。

古晋潮州公会分享了新时期他们锚定三大发展方向:深耕文化、习俗与遗产传承;巩固教育事业根基;提升会员福利水平。

当前,公会正全力推进古晋政府医院对面祖师公庙旧址的开发项目,计划通过重建庙宇、新建会所与商业楼,构建现代化管理体系,为公会持续发展注入强劲动力。

On June 12, a delegation of 16 members from the Kuching Teochew Association, led by its President Mr.Tan Kay Hok, visit to the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan, Singapore. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dato Sri Dr. Derek Goh Bak Heng, BBM(L), President of the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan in Singapore, along with Immediate Past President andLifetime Honorary President Mr. Chan Kian Kuan, PBM;Deputy President Mr. Woo Chee Chay; Honorary Secretary Mr. Jacob Huang Zhao Qun.

During the exchange session, the Kuching Teochew Association shared their three key development directions in the new era: deepening the preservation of culture, customs, and heritage; strengthening the foundation of educational initiatives; and enhancing the welfare of their members.

Currently, the association is actively advancing the development project at the site of the ancestral temple opposite Kuching General Hospital. The plan includes reconstructing the temple, building a new association hall and a commercial complex, and establishing a modern management system to inject strong momentum into the association’s sustainable development.
