5月14日，国际潮团总会主席、新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长吴木興一行拜访汕头市委书记温湛滨，双方亲切座谈、畅叙桑梓情谊。
温湛滨书记感谢会馆长期心系祖籍地、助力潮人交流与文化传承，并表示汕头将全力支持本会馆筹办第二十四届国际潮团联谊年会，深化汕新经贸、文化多领域合作，助推汕头高质量发展。吴木興会长感谢祖籍地的热情接待与支持，表示会馆将全力办好第二十四届国际潮团联谊年会，发挥侨团桥梁作用，凝聚海外潮人力量，积极赋能汕头祖籍地建设，推动海内外潮人联谊事业持续发展。
一同出席会议的成员包括：第二十四届国际潮团联谊年会筹委会执行主席、潮州八邑会馆名誉会长詹奕光，国际潮团总会执行秘书长、潮州八邑会馆总务黄朝群，以及新加坡绿橄榄集团有限公司创始人/董事长李俊与中国区域总顾问李习双等。
On 14th May, a delegation led by Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L) visited Wen Zhanbin, where both sides held a warm and friendly exchange.
Secretary Wen thanked the Huay Kuan for its continued support in promoting Teochew culture and global Teochew connections, and expressed full support for the upcoming 24th Teochew International Convention. President Derek Goh thanked the hometown authorities for their warm hospitality and reaffirmed the Huay Kuan’s commitment to strengthening global Teochew unity and contributing to Shantou’s development.
