八邑会馆出访呼和浩特市政府 共谋两地新机遇
7月13日，国际潮团总会主席、新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)带队拜访呼和浩特市人民政府开展座谈交流，与市委常委、副市长王昆，市教育局党组书记、局长何妍，市外事办党组书记、主任乌兰图雅，市商务局党组成员、副局长谭金龙等领导亲切会晤、共商合作。
座谈会上，呼和浩特市委常委、副市长王昆对本会代表团到访表示热烈欢迎，详细介绍了内蒙古与呼和浩特的城市建设、特色产业优势，以及当地与新加坡长期以来的友好往来与合作根基，为两地深化双向对接提供坚实支撑。
随后，吴木興会长致辞，介绍本会近百年发展历程，长期致力于凝聚乡谊、传承文化、促进中外经贸与文化交流。会长充分肯定呼和浩特优质的营商环境与多元产业优势，看好两地合作潜力。本次交流有效搭建起两地沟通桥梁，为未来政企联动、资源互通、深化双向务实合作奠定了良好基础。

On 13th July, a delegation led by Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L), Chairman of the Teochew International Federation and President of Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore), visited the Hohhot Municipal People’s Government for a discussion and exchange. The delegation was warmly received by Mr Wang Kun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hohhot Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Hohhot, together with other government officials.
During the meeting, Vice Mayor Wang welcomed the delegation and introduced Inner Mongolia’s and Hohhot’s urban development, key industries, as well as the longstanding friendly exchanges and cooperation between Hohhot and Singapore. In his remarks, President Derek Goh shared the Huay Kuan’s nearly century-long history and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting cultural, economic and people-to-people exchanges. He also expressed confidence in Hohhot’s strong business environment and collaboration potential. The visit strengthened ties between both sides and laid a solid foundation for deeper future cooperation.
