August 2026 Series of Teochew Dialect (Advance) Class are now open for registration!

目    的：

1. 提高学员对潮语的掌握能力；

2. 通过潮语了解潮人的历史、文化及风土民情

Objective:

• Enhance students’ proficiency in the Teochew dialect;

• Discover the history, culture, and local customs of the Teochew people through the Teochew dialect.

课程纲要：

单元一：潮州词语的音变

单元二：潮语与华语语法异同

单元三：本地与潮汕地区常用词异同及借用之处

单元四：潮汕俗语及“以动物喻人”的特点

单元五：学习潮州俗谚语

Course Outline: 1: Phonological Changes in Teochew Vernacular Words2: Similarities and Differences Between Teochew and Standard Chinese Grammar3: Similarities and Differences Between Local Terms and Common Terms in the Teochew Region, as well as Points of Borrowing4: Teochew Proverbs and the Characteristics of “Using Animals as Metaphor for Humans”5: Learning Teochew Proverbial Sayings
