携手「四海同歌」潮语歌曲大赛 共扬潮语文化
8 月 2 日，广东省潮州商会「四海同歌」潮语歌曲大赛组委会方云帆主任一行莅临新加坡潮州八邑会馆。本会会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM (L)、总务黄朝群、副总务陈坤成、文教组主任陈丽卿等热情接待，双方围绕赛事落地、海外联动及潮州文化推广展开深度洽谈。
座谈上，吴木興会长提及今年3月双方已就潮州文化传承深入探讨，本届「四海同歌」潮语歌曲大赛旨在弘扬潮语文化，与会馆宗旨不谋而合。会长亦以热映电影《给阿嬷的情书》及其主题曲为例，表示潮语音乐是吸引年轻群体认识潮语的绝佳载体，文化传承需要创新，吸引青年主动参与传播。方云帆主任介绍，「四海同歌」潮语歌曲大赛为国际性赛事，集结全球各地潮人参与，赛事规模宏大，致力以潮歌搭建海内外潮籍乡亲交流平台，推动潮语文化走向世界。会谈尾声，两会正式签署合作协议。
此次合作协议的签订，标志着双方携手推进新加坡赛区筹备工作。期待借助本次潮语歌曲大赛，凝聚本地潮籍乡情力量，以音乐为纽带，联动全球潮人，共同传承与推广璀璨的潮汕文化。
On 2 August, a delegation led by Mr Fang Yunfan, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Teochew Song Competition under the Guangdong Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce, visited Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan Singapore. The delegation was warmly received by President Derek Goh and the Huay Kuan leadership. Both sides discussed the Singapore edition of the competition, international collaboration and the promotion of Teochew culture.
During the meeting, President Derek Goh said the competition shares the Huay Kuan’s mission of promoting the Teochew language and culture. He noted that Teochew music is an effective way to engage younger generations. Mr Fang Yunfan introduced the competition as a global platform that brings together Teochews from around the world through music. Both organisations officially signed a cooperation agreement and will work together to organise the Singapore edition and further promote Teochew culture worldwide.
