吴木興会长一行赴京拜访北京潮商会 President Derek Goh Leads Delegation to Visit the Beijing Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce
7 月 25 日，国际潮团总会主席、新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)一行到访北京潮商会。北京潮商会会长陈才雄带领商会班子热情接待，杨贤足、王尚康等在京潮籍领导、商会骨干共同出席。代表团先行参观北京潮商会馆，全面了解商会会务建设、公益项目与海内外交流成果，共叙乡情。
座谈会上，陈才雄会长对代表团到访致以热烈欢迎。他介绍北京潮商会多年来联动海内外潮商、深耕经贸与文化公益的工作成果，期待两会在经贸、青年发展、文化传播领域深化合作。吴木興会长介绍会馆近百年发展底蕴，以及作为中新经贸、文化往来重要桥梁的平台价值，提出希望加强新加坡与北京潮商群体的常态化往来，依托两地资源优势互通有无、携手拓展新机遇。
本次会面双方围绕全球潮商协同发展、潮州文化传承、新生代潮商培育等多个方向交换意见，进一步拉近与北京潮商的联系，为两会后续经贸、文化双向合作筑牢基础。
On 25th July, Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L), Chairman of the Teochew International Federation and President of Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore), led a delegation to visit the Beijing Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce. The delegation was warmly received by President Chen Caixiong and the Chamber’s leadership. They also toured the Chamber to learn about its development, charitable initiatives and international exchanges.
During the meeting, President Chen Caixiong shared the Chamber’s work in promoting business, cultural and charitable initiatives, and expressed his hope of strengthening cooperation between the two organisations. President Derek Goh introduced the Huay Kuan’s nearly century-long history and its role in fostering Singapore–China business and cultural ties. Both sides exchanged views on business collaboration, youth development and Teochew cultural heritage, and looked forward to closer cooperation and stronger connections between the Teochew communities in Singapore and Beijing.
