普宁市长率团到访 深化新普经贸文化交流
7月19日，普宁市市长林建文带领市经贸交流暨商务考察团莅临新加坡潮州八邑会馆参访座谈。本会署理会长、普宁会馆会长吴佶财，总务黄朝群、交际陈森泉、副交际林本煜、文教组主任陈丽卿、副主任陈丹轲等一众同仁热情接待，双方畅叙潮乡情谊，深入开展经贸交流对接。
座谈中，吴佶财署理会长简要介绍了会馆百年发展底蕴、会务宗旨及海外联谊、跨境经贸赋能的平台职能，期待依托乡情纽带深化两地联动。林建文市长对会馆的热情接待表示感谢，并分享普宁最新发展成果，重点介绍当地纺织服装、跨境电商等优势产业、优质营商环境与文旅发展成效，诚挚期盼深化新普两地产业协作、经贸投资与文化交流，共享发展机遇。
普宁作为潮州八邑之一，与本会同根同源、血脉相连。此次友好参访进一步拉近两地情谊、夯实合作基础，双方将依托会馆海外资源优势，持续深化双向务实合作，助力两地潮乡事业高质量发展。
On 19th July, Mayor Lin Jianwen led the Puning Economic and Trade Exchange and Business Delegation on a visit to Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore). The delegation was warmly received by Deputy President Woo Chee Chay, who is also President of Nanyang Pho Leng Hui Kuan (Singapore), together with the Huay Kuan’s members of the Board. Both sides held a friendly discussion and explored opportunities for business cooperation.
During the meeting, Mr Woo Chee Chay introduced the Huay Kuan’s history, mission and international network. Mayor Lin Jianwen shared Puning’s latest developments, highlighting its strengths in the textile and garment industry, cross-border e-commerce and investment environment. Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening business, cultural and economic exchanges. The visit further strengthened ties and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
