农历三月初三为玄天上帝圣诞，4月18日（农历三月初二），新加坡潮州八邑会馆署理会长吴佶财率领会馆董事及各委员会同仁，前往粤海清庙虔诚参拜玄天上帝暨众位诸神，依古礼上香致敬。祈愿会馆会务蒸蒸日上、乡亲平安顺遂、国泰民安、风调雨顺，传承潮人饮水思源、祈福护乡的优良传统。
On 18th April, on the eve of Xuan Tian Shang Di’s birthday, Deputy President Mr Woo Chee Chay led board and committee members of the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan to Yueh Hai Ching Temple to offer prayers in accordance with tradition, seeking prosperity for the association, peace for the community, and harmony for the nation.
