马跃新程・共谱新篇｜丙午马年新春团拜圆满举行
2 月 22 日农历正月初六，新加坡潮州八邑会馆与新加坡潮商总会在新加坡华族文化中心联合举办丙午马年新春团拜，荣幸邀请到公共服务统筹部长兼国防部长陈振声先生担任主宾，与多位政务部长、国会议员、各国驻新外交使节、各社团领袖及董事、会员欢聚一堂，近 400 位潮州乡贤与嘉宾共贺马年新春。
会长拿督斯里吴木興博士 BBM (L）在致辞中，欢迎各位主宾、嘉宾与乡贤莅临现场，并向大家致以新春祝福。同时宣布，会馆正式成立八邑基金会，并将申请注册为慈善机构，专注推动教育事业与社区服务。基金会首期推出 “八邑勤学奖”，每年拨款 5 万元，资助小学至大专阶段的优秀潮籍学子，助力青年成长。
主宾陈振声部长在致辞中指出，当前国际关税政策波动频繁，全球经济不确定性加剧，将对新加坡经济带来冲击。他勉励国人加强自身实力、上下一心，实现独立稳健发展，不选边也不靠边站，，并祝愿国家安定繁荣、社会和谐安康，祝各位乡贤马年吉祥、万事顺遂。
现场举行了捞鱼生庆典仪式，潮剧等贺岁表演，众人共叙乡情、同庆新春。
On 22nd February, Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan and the Teochew Business Federation (Singapore) jointly held a Chinese New Year Gathering for the Bingwu Year of the Horse at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. We were honoured to have Mr Chan Chun Sing, Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence, as Guest of Honour, joined by Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, foreign diplomatic envoys to Singapore, leaders of various community organisations, as well as directors and members. Nearly 400 guests attended the celebration.
President Dato’ Sri Dr. Derek Goh BBM (L) welcomed all guests and announced the establishment of the Poit Ip Foundation, which will seek charity status to support education and community work. Its first initiative, the “Academic Diligence Award,” will provide S$50,000 annually to assist outstanding Teochew students.
Minister Chan highlighted global economic uncertainties and encouraged unity and resilience, reaffirming that Singapore will not choose sides nor be sidelined.
The spring reception concluded with the traditional Lo Hei ceremony and festive performances, as guests gathered in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
