新加坡潮州八邑会馆出席汕头市进出口商会第六届理事会就职典礼 Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan attend the “Inauguration Ceremony of the Sixth Board of Directors of the Shantou Import & Export Chamber of Commerce”.
11月27日，新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)带队出席了“汕头市进出口商会第六届理事会就职典礼”。
会上，新当选的汕头市进出口商会会长邱志宏先生发表致辞，对各界长期以来的关心与支持表示感谢，并阐述了新一届理事会立足新起点、开启新征程的愿景与规划。
侨领故事展示环节，吴木興会长登台发言感谢《潮人》杂志收录刊登个人事迹，感谢汕头市政府与杂志团队搭建起连接祖籍地与世界的文化桥梁。
陪同出席盛会的还有名誉会长詹奕光，副会长拿督斯里洪静源BBM、沈茂强BBM,MStJ，总务黄朝群，副总务陈坤成，副交际杨耀平，文教副主任陈丹轲，青年团副团长郑勇棉，董事陈家乐、黄利发等，与各界嘉宾共同见证了这一承前启后、继往开来的重要时刻。
On 27th November,Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan President Dato’ Seri Dr. Derek Goh BBM(L) led a delegation to attend the “Inauguration Ceremony of the Sixth Board of Directors of the Shantou Import & Export Chamber of Commerce”.
At the meeting, the newly elected President of the Chamber, Mr. Qiu Zhihong expressed gratitude for the long-standing care and support from all sectors, and outlined the vision and plans of the new board as they embark on a new beginning and journey.
During the segment showcasing stories of overseas Chinese leaders, President Goh took the stage to express thanks to CHAOREN magazine for including his personal story. He also thanked the Government of Shantou and the magazine team for building a cultural bridge between the ancestral homeland and the global diaspora.
