96载同心同行，新加坡潮州八邑会馆隆重举办96周年庆典 Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan Holds a Grand Celebration for Its 96th Anniversary
11月23日晚上，新加坡潮州八邑会馆96周年庆典于费尔蒙酒店宴会厅隆重举行。宴会现场迎来海内外近900名宾客欢聚一堂，国家发展部长兼华社联络组主席徐芳达作为主宾出席。
国会议长谢健平、前副总理兼八邑会馆荣誉顾问王瑞杰应邀出席本次庆典。同时，多位八邑会馆名誉顾问也莅临现场，包括政务部长马炎庆、吴培铭、高级政务次长黄伟中、国会议员洪维能、林瑞莲、谢秉辉、陈立峰、蔡引舟及前国会议员成汉通、林伟杰、杨木光等。
此外，我们也荣幸迎来国际潮团总会执行主席林少华、马潮联会署理总会长拿督斯里郑明发、香港潮属社团总会副主席黄家豪等诸位海外贵宾出席。全场海内外政商代表、外交使节、潮社领袖以及会馆董事、会员齐聚一堂，共庆新加坡潮州八邑会馆成立96周年，见证潮人社群持续深耕与蓬勃发展的重要时刻。
吴木兴会长宣布了会馆成功获得2027年第24届国际潮团联谊年会的主办权，同时透露，会馆将在未来三年推进“潮州文化中心”设立，成立公益机构，并将从2026年起设立勤学奖等计划。
徐芳达部长在致辞中称赞道，潮州八邑会馆在培养华社领袖、融合新移民、吸引年轻人参与等三大领域取得很好的成绩。希望八邑会馆能够和其他会馆分享经验，互相学习，共同迈进。
On 23rd November, we celebrated our Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan 96th Anniversary with nearly 900 guests. Minister Chee Hong Tat graced the event as Guest of Honour, together with distinguished leaders from government, local clans and overseas Teochew communities.
President Dr. Derek Goh announced that our Huay Kuan will host the 24th Teochew International Convention in 2027, and shared upcoming plans, including establishing a Teochew Cultural Centre, setting up a charitable organization, and launching the Diligence Award to support the next generation.
Minister Chee Hong Tat commended Huay Kuan for its strong achievements in three key areas: nurturing community leaders, integrating new immigrants, and engaging the younger generation.
Let us move forward together and create a vibrant future for the Huay Kuan.
