8 月 28 日，国际潮团总会主席、新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士 BBM (L) 一行受邀赴汕头，出席由汕头市潮人潮菜研究院主办，多部门及汕头融媒集团提供指导支持，“潮菜赋能 文化出海”系列主题活动。本次盛会重磅推出《何以潮菜》人文纪录片及《说潮菜》《潮人潮菜丛书》，并为汕头市潮人潮菜研究院钟成泉工作室揭牌，海内外侨领、学界专家与餐饮匠人齐聚汕头，共同搭建潮菜文化研究、传承与国际传播的完整链条。
吴木興会长在致辞中表示，潮菜是海外潮人最深的乡情印记，承载着潮汕先辈跨海拓殖、务实拼搏的精神底蕴。本次纪录片、书籍成果的发布，为潮菜文化出海打造了优质IP。在揭牌仪式中，非遗传承人钟成泉也分享初心，深耕厨艺数十载、搭建传承工作室，核心初心便是打破地域局限、打破传承壁垒，让潮汕灶台匠心走出本土、走向全国、享誉海外，汇聚各方力量守护潮菜非遗技艺。汕头市潮人潮菜研究院院长唐逸蘋表示，研究院将持续深耕史料挖掘、技艺整理、学术创新，以守正创新姿态赋能潮菜文化高质量发展。
一席潮味牵起万里侨缘。本次活动透过影像著作、师徒授艺的多元方式，为潮菜非遗构筑完整的传承体系。会馆也将持续联动全球潮团，以美食为纽带，助力潮州文化跨越山海、薪火相传。

On 28 August, Chairman of the Teochew International Federation and President of the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore), Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L), led a delegation to Shantou for the “Teochew Cuisine Empowering Cultural Outreach” themed event, hosted by the Teochew People and Teochew Cuisine Research Institute of Shantou. The event launched the documentary The Story of Teochew Cuisine, the books Talking Teochew Cuisine and Teochew People, Teochew Cuisine, and the Zhong Chengquan Studio. Teochew community leaders, scholars and culinary masters from around the world gathered to promote the research, preservation and global outreach of Teochew cuisine.
In his speech, President Goh said Teochew cuisine carries the deepest bonds of home and heritage for Teochew people overseas. It reflects the spirit of perseverance and hard work of generations of Teochew pioneers. The documentary and publications provide strong platforms for bringing Teochew cuisine to the world. The event also highlighted the importance of passing down traditional culinary skills. Huay Kuan will continue to connect Teochew communities worldwide through food, promoting Teochew culture across borders and generations.
