8月30日，泰国潮阳同乡会第43-44届理事会交卸就职典礼于泰国潮州会馆隆重举行。国际潮团总会主席、新加坡潮州八邑会馆会长拿督斯里吴木興博士 BBM (L) 一行受邀出席，本会名誉会长詹奕光，副总务陈坤成一同赴会。泰国枢密院主席素拉育·朱拉暖上将，中华人民共和国驻泰王国大使馆公参兼总领事吴健，泰国中华总商会主席林楚钦，泰国潮州会馆主席陈运金，汕头市潮阳区委副书记方文宏，汕头市潮南区委常委、海外联谊会会长杜佳斯，美国潮商总会执行主席李汉强等嘉宾莅临现场。与泰华侨界领袖、海内外潮团代表、潮阳籍乡贤嘉宾近四百人齐聚一堂，共同见证新一届理事会接力传承的重要历史时刻。
大会主席、同乡会永远名誉主席李光隆率先致欢迎辞，典礼在贵宾见证下举行第 43 44 届理事会交卸仪式，完成印信及财务交接，第 43 届理事长李桂雄先生将印信郑重移交第 44 届理事长林玮先生，新一届理事会正式履职。吴木興会长致辞祝贺新一届班子履新，适逢同乡会成立 80 周年，他肯定了潮阳侨胞扎根当地、服务泰国社会的贡献，指出本次换届承载着潮人精神与桑梓乡情的传承；林玮先生在就职致辞中感念历届同仁的付出，承诺传承先贤优良品格，未来将将以乡情凝聚人心，传承潮阳文化，加强海内外潮团联络合作，持续参与公益慈善事业，团结乡亲、服务社会。
本次参会交流进一步深化了新加坡潮州八邑会馆与泰国潮阳同乡会的情谊，筑牢潮团协作根基。祝愿泰国潮阳同乡会薪火永续、会务昌隆、宏图大展！
On 30 August, the Handover Inauguration Ceremony for the 43rd 44th Council of The Teo Yio Association of Thailand took place at the Teochew Association of Thailand. Dato Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L), Chairman of the Teochew International Federation and President of the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore), attended the event. Nearly 400 overseas Teochew community leaders and clansmen gathered to witness this historic handover.
The 43rd Chairman, Mr Li Guixiong, formally handed over the official seal to the 44th Chairman, Mr Lin Wei., marking the inauguration of the new council. President Goh congratulated the new team on the association’s 80th anniversary. He praised overseas Teoyio Chinese for their contributions to Thailand and described the transition as a legacy of Teochew spirit and hometown bonds. In his inaugural address, Lin Wei thanked past leaders. He promised to uphold ancestral values, promote Teochew culture, expand global Teochew networks and support charity work. This visit strengthened the bond between our two associations. We wish The Teo Yio Association of Thailand continued prosperity and lasting success.
