9月27日，东莞市潮汕商会代表团一行莅临新加坡潮州八邑会馆参访交流。本会会长拿督斯里吴木興博士BBM(L)、总务黄朝群、副交际林本煜热情接待，共叙乡谊、共探合作。
座谈会上，吴木興会长赞许东莞市潮汕商会汇聚大批扎根东莞的潮籍企业家，凝聚乡贤力量搭建交流平台；旗下潮青会联结新生代潮商，热心行业交流、创新创业分享与公益服务，传承潮人诚信务实、敢闯敢拼的精神。东莞市潮汕商会常务副会长兼潮青会主席陈宏城转达陈海生会长对会馆 97 周年庆典的祝贺，他表示此行专程登门交流学习，期待依托本次会面搭建两地经贸对接桥梁，发掘产业合作机遇，同时深化青年乡贤联络，共同弘扬潮汕文化。
座谈会在融洽热烈的氛围中圆满结束。两地潮籍社团将持续保持密切联络，积极搭建潮商对接平台，推动经贸资源互通共享，深化新生代潮青交流联动，携手传承潮商精神。
On 27th September, a delegation from the Dongguan Teochew Chamber of Commerce visited the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore) for an exchange session. President Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh BBM(L), and his team warmly welcomed the delegation. Both sides shared their views on strengthening ties and exploring opportunities for cooperation.
President Derek Goh welcomed the delegation and highlighted the chamber’s role in connecting Teochew entrepreneurs in Dongguan. Chen Hongcheng, Executive Vice President of the Dongguan Teochew Chamber and Chairman of its Teochew Youth Committee, conveyed President Chen Haisheng’s congratulations on the Huay Kuan’s 97th Anniversary. He said the delegation came to exchange ideas and learn from the Huay Kuan. They also hope to strengthen business links, explore industry opportunities, deepen youth connections and promote Teochew culture. Both sides look forward to continued cooperation and closer connections between Teochew communities in Singapore and Dongguan.
