9 月 26 日，新加坡潮州八邑会馆于莱佛士城会议中心举办97 周年庆典晚宴，逾千名贵宾齐聚现场，其中包括来自海外的 30 多个社团代表。会馆荣誉顾问、贸工部长（能源与工业）陈诗龙医生担任主宾；政务部长马炎庆、高级政务次长黄伟中、国会议员陈立峰、蔡引舟、李乃怡、陈以君、彭丽燕等，以及前国会议员林俊龙、杨木光、成汉通、刘梦琳、吴顺喜等莅临共贺。
会长吴木興在晚宴上透露，2027 年第 24 届国际潮团联谊年会筹备工作正稳步推进，期间将举办国际潮籍博士论坛、潮学国际研讨会、潮人经济论坛、杰出潮人奖等多项重点活动，届时将迎接全球逾4000名乡亲来宾，向世界展现新加坡潮人的风采。过去一年，会馆持续走访海内外潮团与商会，凝聚潮人力量。主宾陈诗龙部长则肯定会馆多年传承勤俭诚信、崇文重教、饮水思源的潮人精神，赞许会馆通过设立勤学奖，举办潮州青年领袖峰会、商业导师计划培育新生代，期许会馆善用科技发展会务，持续发掘与栽培青年接班人。晚宴当晚，会馆全新官网正式上线，新网站版面焕然一新，除涵盖会馆动态外，还增设潮汕美食与潮汕非遗文化等栏目。
九十七载薪火相传，潮心相连。新加坡潮州八邑会馆将继续扎根本地、联通世界，做好潮州文化传承工作，全力以赴办好 2027年 国际潮团联谊年会，传承发扬潮人精神。
On 26th September, the Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore) held its 97th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at the Raffles City Convention Centre, welcoming over 1,000 distinguished guests, including representatives from overseas associations in more than 30 countries and regions. The Guest-of-Honour was Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry), and Senior Honorary Advisor of the Huay Kuan. Minister of State Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary Shawn Huang, Members of Parliament Dannis Tan, Cai Yinzhou, Valerie Lee, Charlene Chen and Diana Pang, as well as former Members of Parliament Micheal Lim, Yeo Guat Kwang, Seng Han Tong, Penny Low and Derrick Goh, also attended the celebration.
President Dato’ Seri Dr Derek Goh shared preparations for the 24th Teochew International Convention in 2027 are well underway. The convention will feature the International Teochew Doctors Association Forum, International Symposium on Teochew Studies, Teochew Economic Forum and Outstanding Teochew Award. The convention is expected to welcome over 4,000 Teochew guests from around the world. Dr Tan See Leng commended the Huay Kuan for upholding Teochew values and nurturing the younger generation through initiatives such as the Academic Diligence Award 2026, Teochew Youth Leaders Summit and Business Mentorship Programme.
For 97 years, the Teochew spirit has lived on, connecting hearts across generations. The Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (Singapore) will continue to preserve Teochew culture, connect the community worldwide, and work towards a successful 24th Teochew International Convention in 2027.
